One pair of original 1890's 201

one pair of original 1890's levi's strauss 201 denim known back then as waistoveralls or coveralls.
This pair of jeans were discovered in a mining town in Montana.
They were tucked away in a miners cabin and found during restoration.
The owner of the jean found quite a bit of gold in the watch pocket or as he calls it a pinch pocket.
This is were the miner would reach in to the pocket and take a pinch of gold out to bay a drink at the saloon.
This pair of jeans is sold on ebay for $59995,95
it is not cheap but..........this is the real thing!!!!

AKA levi strauss.
Levi is his clamour name.
He was born 26 januari 1829 in buttenheim.
In 1847 he emigrated with two sisters and his mother to the US.
At first in new york.
in 1853 he became amrican citizen.
That same year he moved to Sanfancisco and started his own trade company.
A few years later Löb and Jacob Davis (a tailor from reno) developed the rived.
The rest is history!!

Me myself am a employee of The original Levi's Store sinds 1997.
So mr Oskar Löb strauß is like a godfather to me.
